Program Data Governance Lead

PROGRAM OPERATIONS · INDIVIDUAL CONTRIBUTOR · REPORTS TO HEAD OF PROGRAM OPERATIONS

ABOUT THE ROLE

Our client is a growing multi-carrier insurance platform partnering with multiple MGAs and MGUs. As the organization scales organically and through acquisition, disciplined, decision-ready performance reporting has become critical to effective portfolio oversight. Today, data is fragmented, bordereaux vary significantly across MGA partners, KPI definitions are not fully standardized, and there is no centralized governed source of truth.

The Director, Program Data Governance & Performance is being hired to fix that. This role is the business owner of performance reporting integrity across the platform — sitting within Program Operations and serving as the central integrator between executive leadership (CFO, CUO, Chief Actuary), MGA partners, internal functional teams, and the firm’s managed data/BI platform vendor currently being implemented.

This role operates primarily through influence — internally across functions and externally with MGA partners — and works closely with the Head of Program Operations on sensitive partner dynamics.

•   Harmonize underwriting, actuarial, and finance perspectives across reporting views

•   Support data diligence in acquisitions — assess data maturity of targets and develop integration roadmaps
