  • Experience leading a team, agency, office, market, or advisor organization.
  • Strong understanding of life insurance and retirement strategies.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive advisor productivity and organizational growth.
  • Experience coaching and developing advisors at different stages of their careers.
  • Track record of measurable recruiting, retention, and/or production results.
  • Experience identifying and developing future managers and leaders is highly desirable.
  • Exposure to investments, advisory business, and AUM is preferred but not required.

Licensing & Credentials

  • Active Life & Health insurance license required.
  • Series 65, Series 7 & 66, or an applicable professional designation that satisfies IAR qualification requirements is preferred, but not required.
  • Existing investment advisory and AUM experience is considered a strong plus given Rise North Capital's RIA platform.
  • Additional industry licenses, professional designations, and credentials are viewed favorably.

Leadership Characteristics

The successful candidate should be:

  • Entrepreneurial and growth-oriented.
  • A proven recruiter and developer of people.
  • Competitive with a team-first mentality.
  • Comfortable establishing expectations and accountability.
  • A strong communicator and relationship builder.
  • Capable of balancing strategic leadership with day-to-day execution.
  • Resourceful and comfortable operating in a growth environment.
  • Motivated by building an organization rather than simply managing an existing one.
  • Interested in developing people, building leaders, and creating meaningful long-term enterprise value.
