Position Summary:

The Senior FP&A Analyst is a key contributor to the financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes. This role partners with business units to provide insights and analysis that drive informed strategic decisions. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills, financial modeling expertise, and the ability to communicate complex data in a clear, actionable way.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes in collaboration with department heads and senior leadership.
  • Develop and maintain complex financial models to support business decision-making.
  • Analyze monthly and quarterly financial results, identify trends, and provide variance explanations against budget and forecast.
  • Prepare executive-level financial reports, dashboards, and presentations to support senior management and board discussions.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to evaluate business performance, identify risks/opportunities, and recommend actions.
  • Drive continuous improvement in FP&A processes, tools, and systems.
  • Provide ad-hoc financial analysis to support business initiatives, capital investment decisions, and strategic planning.
  • Assist in the development of key performance indicators (KPIs) and tracking mechanisms.
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data used in reporting and decision-making.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA a plus.
  • 4+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or financial consulting.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including modeling, pivot tables, and lookups) and financial planning tools (e.g., Adaptive Insights, Anaplan, Hyperion).
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
