Senior Wealth Strategist 


Hybrid Office Policy - 1 day / week working from home


Position Summary 


The Senior Wealth Strategist will be a key technical and client-facing member of our advisory team. This individual will bring deep expertise in estate, tax, and wealth transfer planning while also being fluent in investments and portfolio strategy.


The ideal candidate will come from a Big 4 Private Client group, estate planning law firm, or multi-family office, and will thrive in an environment that values collaboration, technical depth, and integrated client service. This role provides the opportunity to help shape the firm’s planning capabilities as we scale to the next level.


  

Responsibilities:      
  • Partner with firm principals and advisors to develop advanced planning strategies for high- and ultra-high-net-worth clients, including estate, gift, trust, charitable, etc.
  • Translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable strategies that align with each client’s objectives.
  • Collaborate closely with the CIO and investment team to ensure planning and investment strategies are coordinated and tax-efficient.
  • Participate directly in client meetings as a senior resource; coordinate with clients’ external advisors (attorneys, accountants, trustees) to ensure seamless implementation.
  • Contribute to the development of firmwide planning frameworks, processes, and educational resources.
  • Mentor and develop junior members of the planning and client service teams.
  • Stay informed on legislative, tax, and regulatory developments relevant to high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients.


 

Qualifications & Skills: 


  • 10+ years of experience in wealth planning, private client services, or estate/tax law.
  • Advanced degree or designation strongly preferred: JD/LL.M. in Tax, CPA, CFP®, or CFA®.
  • Deep technical knowledge of estate, income, and transfer tax planning; experience with trusts, partnerships, and philanthropic structures.
  • Strong investment fluency and ability to discuss asset allocation, portfolio construction, and after-tax investment implications.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; able to simplify complexity and earn client trust.
  •  Collaborative, strategic, and detail-oriented professional who thrives in a growth-oriented, team-driven environment.
