Reports To: Senior Pricing Actuary

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Associate Actuary to join our Professional Pricing team in our New York City office. This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with Underwriting teams, contribute to strategic decision-making, and gain exposure to senior leadership across both Actuarial and Underwriting functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Price reinsurance treaties and certificates for:
• Cyber
• Directors & Officers (D&O)
• Non-medical Errors & Omissions (E&O), including Lawyers, Accountants, and Architects & Engineers
• Participate in client visits and audits.
• Contribute to annual profitability studies and quarterly reserving work.
• Conduct parameter studies including:
• Loss trend analysis
• Loss development factors
• Increased limits factors
• Support portfolio analytics and ad-hoc actuarial projects.

Qualifications

• Property & Casualty (P&C) pricing experience in the (re)insurance industry.
• Strong preference for experience in Professional Lines and/or Cyber.
• Proven ability to collaborate with and advise underwriting teams.
• ACAS or FCAS designation.
• Proficiency in Excel (formulas, VLOOKUP, pivot tables), Power BI, and other data analytics tools.
• Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
